Growing with each day!

So...it has been a while. I started this and then forgot about it!! Woops! Anyway, Emily is developing more and more each day. She has been rolling around and pulling up to try and crawl alot. Then two days ago she finally did it!!! She is now an old pro at it...she loves crawling and pivoting around. It is so cute. She is eating stage 2 foods and enjoys everything but her veggies. We had to go back to the stage 1 veggies becuase they aren't as think and I guess the taste is not as strong as the stage 2's. Now that it is getting warmer outside I can put her in dresses, which I love. Of course I have bows to match all of her dresses too....so that makes it even better! She has really started trying to talk now as well. She is rambling and babbling all day long. She also likes to do a motor mouth thing...it is really cute...except when she spits on you!!! haha. Hopefully I will keep up with this a little bit better than before!!!! Until next time!

Emily's Life thus far.....

So, for those of you just catching on...Adam and I had a beautiful healthy baby girl!!! Her name is Emily Belle Bethel. She was born August 17, 2008 at UK hospital. She has been such an adventure so far! She is now 5 months old and is growing like a weed! Her last weight at the doctor was 14 lbs. 3 ozs. She finally doubled her birth weigth! She is now eating fruits such as applesauce, pears, bananas and peaches. She loves them all! She started laughing and cooing and trying to talk around 2 months and rolled over around 4 months. She is an old pro at it now. She has started sitting up on her own. She still needs a little help at times but is doing really well with it. She can prop herself up to try to crawl although she hasn't crawled yet. We are just waiting on it though because she is scooting backwards and everyone says crawling will be next. So, look out world here she comes! She is a great baby and we are having so much fun being parents!

I have had snow days at school the past 3 days so she is getting lots of extra mommy time that she doesn't normally get! Hopefully she won't be sick of me!!! haha. Well, that's about it for now!
